The Experts:
Laura L. Rathbone has worked in finance and accounting for over 30 years. During this time, Laura has served in a variety of roles and responsibilities and currently serves as Vice President Commercial Relationships Manager with Civis Bank. Previously, Laura was Market President for US Bank in Blount County, TN. She is experienced in underwriting commercial, small business, and mortgage loan requests as well as compliance and audit controls for mortgage lending. Laura has been an auditor, both internal and external, across manufacturing firms, higher education institutions, and small businesses. She was a recipient of the Pinnacle Award with US Bank, 2014-2016. In her free time, Laura enjoys spending time with family and playing handbells at First United Methodist Church, Maryville.
Jessica L. Rich has worked in the financial industry as a banker for over 25 years, serving in various roles as a result of opportunities provided through multiple bank mergers and acquisitions. Currently, Jessica is the Senior Vice President Commercial Relationship Manager with Civis Bank. Previously, Jessica was the District Manager for a highly successful market of Knoxville, TN, for US Bank. Jessica had the responsibility of 36 branch locations for an institution in excess of $1.2 billion in assets. She is a qualified lender for commercial, small business, and retail lending as well as mortgage origination. As Chief Operations Officer for Community Bank for eight years, she was responsible for all facets of bank operations, including regulatory compliance, safety and soundness. Jessica was a District Pinnacle Winner with US Bank for the past three years and currently serves on multiple civic boards and organizations. She is happily married to her husband of 38 years.
