TLC Virtual Toy Drive to Support Emerald Youth
Let's make Christmas a little brighter for children in need this year! As part of our month-long emphasis on serving Knoxville, TLC is hosting a Virtual Toy Drive on Tuesday, November 24, at 12 p.m. to help families served by Emerald Youth Foundation's Christmas Store. Emerald Youth is a Christian urban youth ministry that serves more than 1,350 at-risk boys and girls, raising them up to love Jesus Christ and become effective leaders.
There are several ways you can get involved:
- Call in a donation via debit/credit card to Cindy at 865-384-2578 prior to the Toy Drive.
- Grab a hot cocoa (...or coffee if that's more your style!) and join us on Zoom for TLC's Virtual Toy Drive on Nov. 24th from 12:00-12:30 p.m., and we'll "shop" together for toys with our donations on Zoom at Emerald's Christmas Store website (get a sneak peek). Sounds fun, right?! 'Twill be! You could even get your kids on the screen with you for some gift-giving fun and teachable moments! And a little elf told us that we may even throw in some fun giveaways for most festive Christmas get-up! So find those ugly sweaters and festive head-gear for your virtual close-up!
