You still have time to get involved several different ways. We invite you to:

• Join our team and camp out with us (first 200 registrants receive a gift from KARM). Go TEAM TLC!
• Don't want to spend the night? Come on over to the Friday night festivities for only $15 at the gate. Click here for the event schedule.
• Make donations to Team TLC in support of Knox Area Rescue Ministries. Have you heard about our Twin Challenge, a matching gift initiative (runs from Wed-Friday at noon)? Details are here.
• Collect shoes for the homeless for TLC for the Sole {Soul} Shoe Drive.  You may bring these to the office, upcoming Speaker Series, or the KARM Camp Out event on Friday.

Team TLC is at the top of the fundraising efforts with over $1,500.00 raised. If you would like to jump on the bandwagon, either by donating money or camping out with us, go to www.karm.org/campout and click "Team TLC" in the right margin.

If we could walk a mile in a homeless person's shoes, we believe that we would have more love and compassion toward them. And so our "TLC for the Sole {Soul}" theme has taken off with several initiatives to help demonstrate TLC at KARM Camp Out. We are asking that you help us collect gently used shoes for our TLC for the Sole Shoe Drive. Also, we will be doing some fun activities at the Camp Out: Kids' Art T-shirt Project ($3 or 2/$5), TLC Photobooth ($2), and a TLC for the {Soul} Message Board for people to write words of encouragement to KARM's residents. All donations will be given to KARM. We hope to see your family there!

A few event details for you:

• Remember to bring lawn chairs/blankets in addition to your camping equipment so you can enjoy the concerts closer to the stage.
• If you're camping out, you are welcome to bring a tent (and/or other stuff like a sleeping bag), but please remember that the World’s Fair Park strictly enforces that NO spikes or tent stakes are permitted.
• KARM’s Abundant Life Kitchen students and staff will be offering some great dinner options for you.  The menu includes:  Frozen Lemonade, Hot Dog Station with Grilled Onions, peppers, chili and regular hot dog condiments, Nachos with Cheese (salsa and jalapenos on the side), Grilled Flatbread Pizzas, Buffalo Chicken Wings with Ranch and Celery Sticks, Veggie and Fajita Chicken Wraps, Bottled Water, Bottled Sodas, Movie Theatre-Style Popcorn and S’MORES!!!!  Yumm….bring some extra money to enjoy a delicious dinner and help support the ALK training program at the same time!
• A FREE breakfast will be provided on Saturday morning starting at 7:00 a.m. that will include sausage biscuits, Krispy Kreme donuts, OJ, Coffee and fruit.
• Our friends at Green Mountain Coffee will be on-site Friday and Saturday offering FREE coffee!
• West Park Baptist is putting together hygiene packs for KARM residents. So collect your unused hotel stash and other toiletries/personal items and bring them to the event.
• Registration starts at 5:00 p.m.
• Unloading will be permitted along the road of the Festival Lawn. Upon unloading you will have to move your car to the designated parking lots. This will be strictly enforced.
• See the schedule for what to expect including live concerts, tons of activities, and appearances from the UT Basketball Team and others!
• Please look over the Camp Out FAQ’s listed on the website (KARM Camp Out Site) for other details.
• KARM is offering a Friday Night Only  special for those who aren’t interested in camping overnight but want to enjoy the concerts and festivities for $15.00 - so tell your friends! No registration is required for this option, just register the day of the event at the venue.
• The weather forecast is showing a great weather day for Friday:  High of 72 and a low overnight of 42.

Don't forget to bring your gently used shoes for our TLC for the Sole {Soul} Shoe Drive! You can bring those to our office, Speaker Series on Friday morning, or at the Camp Out.

Also, we're still looking for a big canopy tent for Team TLC's campsite area. Please let us know if you have one we can borrow.
