EntreVision Lab Workshops
Members and the general public are invited to join the EntreVision Quarter-finalists for the Lab Workshops being held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, July 15 - 29, from 6:00-7:15 p.m.* (The remainder of the evening will be reserved for quarter-finalists only.) We welcome you to attend the workshops that are of interest to you.
Each Lab focuses on a different subject matter for growing a successful business:
July 15 Vision & Strategic Plan
Workshop presented by:
Mike Akers, blueriver Partners
First things first. You must be visionary before you're strategic. We will kick off our Labs with the importance of knowing your 'why' before you try to answer 'how.'
July 17 Legal, Accounting & Tax
Workshops presented by:
Phil Bryce, Law Offices of Philip J. Bryce
Jeff Lawhorn, Lawhorn CPA Group
This workshop will cover entity, investors, partners, IP & more. On the accounting end, we will emphasize cash flow, balance sheets, wage earners, and tax requirements.
July 22 Operational & Financial Strategy + Writing a Winning Business Plan*

Tim Rash, Entrepreneur (Coastal Diamond, etc.)
*This entire Lab (6:00 - 9:00 p.m.) will be open to the public!
The beginning of this Lab will emphasize operational and financial strategy for meeting goals to include core systems for resources, personnel, work process in production of product/service - like a road map. We will address how to seek funding, write winning proposals for obtaining capital through loan requests and investments.
The evening will conclude with a third workshop led by Tim Rash on how to write a winning business plan after an introduction and mentoring session on business model canvases.
July 24 Sales & Marketing

This lab's focus will be on creating the DNA of your brand story, marketing and advertising. Then the discussion will shift to sales growth strategy.
July 29 Leadership, Culture, & Legacy
