Lunch & Learn Series

The Subject:

“What every employer should know about internships, the career center and the tools necessary for success”

Do you need new perspective on organizational issues? Could you use more brain power and skills to accomplish important projects? Would you enjoy the opportunity to pour into the next generation of leaders by empowering them to gain real world business experience and realize their potential?

All of this and more is possible.

On Thursday, July 24, Andrea Hurst, Director of the Career Success Center at King University, will be speaking on several topics related to the new internship program available to our members through our strategic partnership with King. By attending this Lunch & Learn, you will learn:

  • What is an internship? We will discuss the various types of internship opportunities (paid vs. unpaid, terms, etc.).
  • How do internships benefit employers?
  • What might your business/organization expect to achieve from this relationship?
  • Can internship growth spark full time hiring?

Andrea also will educate attendees on King University's Career Success Center and how the Center can add value to students, alumni, and employers.

Lastly, she will speak about opportunities available to you or your employees for continuing education at King University, including their accredited, achievable, and affordable programs.
