The Legacy Centre Speaker Series with Gary Braden

"A Life of Miracles" presented by Gary Braden, Owner & President, Braden's Lifestyle Furniture

Hope Lives Here

We are so very excited to regather again safely at The Legacy Centre Speaker Series (at a new venue: The Legacy Centre office), and we are especially honored to welcome Gary Braden, President and Owner of Braden's Lifestyle Furniture, as our special guest speaker on Friday, September 11!

It was the height of the recession, April 2010, 5:30 p.m. when Gary Braden's world came tumbling down. Maryville Fire Department was on the other end of the line with the news that Braden's furniture warehouse was on fire. Suddenly, nothing would be the same.

Perhaps you've been in a similar season; maybe you're in one now. You lost something or someone dear, received some devastating news, unsure of your next step, questioning God in the midst of your obedience, yet still mustering the faith and courage to hang your hope on His promises...sometimes by a thread but still holding on nonetheless! Gary Braden can relate. He has walked this road a time or twenty.

In 1956, Braden’s Furniture, known as Braden's Lifestyles, was founded by McKinley & Mildred Braden and is now owned and operated by their son Gary Braden and his children. This amazing business and the faithful family behind it have been a long admired 64-year fixture in East Tennessee, voted many times as Knoxville's best furniture store. Through the years, even when all seemed lost (multiple fires, health scares...you name it!), the Bradens put their trust in God, and His love and mercy have never failed.

Join us on September 11th, reconnect with old friends, and be encouraged by three generations worth of miracle stories and lessons of God's faithfulness to Braden's family business. Yes, life is hard, especially right now for so many reasons, but hope still lives here - on this earth, in this city, at your workplace, in your home, within my heart and yours. Blessed assurance.

Note Venue Change: Please be aware that this event will be held at The Legacy Centre office building. Also, be advised we will practice appropriate social distancing measures, including no-contact temperature checks at the door, sanitizing stations, etc. Due to local mandates and to ensure the safety of all, masks are expected. Thank you!
