"Serving As Leadership Development" presented by Paul Metler, PhD, Author, Executive Coach, People Development at Barnhart Crane & Rigging

Happy New Year! We are very excited to kick off 2026 with one of our favorite past speakers, Dr. Paul Metler, who will be discussing one of our favorite topics, servant leadership! A win-win! Make plans to join us on Tuesday, February 24, at Chesapeake's. You'll definitely not want to miss this one!
Can you describe a moment when you felt most alive...fully in tune with who you are and what you were meant to do? At TLC, this year, our charge is to inspire and challenge you to seek out these moments, to live fully alive 24/7! Whether you are at home with your family, at work with your employees, or with friends at your favorite local eatery, find ways to connect, grow, and serve with greater passion and purpose. Because what’s the point of any of it unless we are living fully surrendered, fully on mission, fully forgiven, fully disciplined, fully committed… FULLY ALIVE! For better or worse, your leadership will tell the story of what’s going on in your heart, who and why you serve. We're excited to kick off 2026 talking about how servant leadership can breathe new life into your business and beyond.
Serving others is a powerful way to cultivate core leadership competencies. It builds trust, encourages collaborative problem-solving, and deepens skills like active listening and empathy. When leaders take time to understand and meet the needs of others, they learn to communicate with clarity, adapt to diverse perspectives, and solve problems in meaningful, human-centered ways. Most importantly, there’s no better way to develop character. Character is the strongest leadership muscle of all.
Come join us on Tuesday, February 24th! It will undoubtedly be a special morning together. Our speaker and friend, Dr. Paul Metler, is among the rare few who truly embody the character of a servant leader. Drawing from past experience and his current role in People Development at Barnhart Crane & Rigging, Paul will share lessons learned and deliver a challenge for embracing Servant Leadership opportunities.
Limited seating. Reserve your seat today! Your RSVP is kindly requested by February 20th to reserve your seat and meal as space permits.
Note: This is an in-person event with breakfast buffet. To help us reserve the appropriate number of seats and food, please ensure your reservation is firm.
