Barry started his consulting practice in 1992 following more than 20 years of corporate HR experience. Effective Resources, Inc. focuses on the “technical” side of HR: compensation, salary surveys, Affirmative Action compliance, performance management, and employee opinion surveys. Clients are large, small, high-tech, and no-tech in a variety of industrial environments including retail, aerospace, health care, food service, defense, manufacturing, and information services.
Active in community and professional associations, Barry is an active member of the Tennessee Valley Human Resource Association, the past President of HR Tampa, a recent member of the Suncoast Human Resources Management Association, past President of the Suncoast Compensation and Benefits Association, a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources, a Certified Compensation Professional, and a recent Officer of the HR Florida State Council. He earned his BS Degree from the University of Tennessee with major studies in Economics and Finance.
