The Legacy Centre Speaker Series: Marriage Panel

"Loving Well to the Finish"
featuring a panel of married couples who own local family businesses

Love & Marriage

Love. Relationships. Business. Really? Isn't there some rule against mixing business with pleasure?

Family business is a complicated thing. If you have ever worked with a spouse or loved one, you know living and working together is not for the faint of heart! Some might say it's a lifelong lesson in love, humility, and grace. No one said mixing love and business would be easy, but ask any of our panelists and they'll tell you it is worthwhile. There is hope, joy, and fulfillment to be found!

On February 14, bring your sweetheart and join us for a special Valentine's edition of The Legacy Centre Speaker Series! TLC will visit with a panel of five married couples who own several Knoxville-area family businesses. With over a century of "blissful" marriage represented, these couples have experienced the challenges and blessings of working together and can provide life-giving wisdom for your journey.

The panel will provide rare and interesting glimpses into the public and private lives and foundations of couples with whom you can relate and admire as they bring their own unique experiences, insight, wisdom, style, and humor to the conversation. Our discussion will seek to answer, What does 'Loving Well to the Finish' look like... How would the Lord want us to finish well in our marriage and other relationships at work? In addition to answering questions from the audience, we will explore God's design for love and marriage within the context of family business, how to navigate the pressures of raising a family and building a business, and the importance of your marriage legacy.

You don't want to miss this! Whether you are happily married (or not), dating, single, secretly contemplating divorce, or just want to improve your relationships in general... join TLC and our panel of married couples as they share practical wisdom for building marriages, families, and businesses that will stand the test of time.
