The Legacy Centre Speaker Series with Leigh Cowden

“The Ultimate Plan: Doing What You Love While Serving Your Community and Setting Up Your Legacy for Your Children and Beyond” presented by Leigh Cowden, Attorney at Law in Estate Planning, Business Law, and Real Estate Investment Services at Vermillion Law

Passion Purpose Peace

Chances are you’ve heard the old saying, “Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life.” Perhaps even better, you’re living it! But have you done what is necessary to protect that way of life – your legacy – for yourself and the next generation?

The older we get, the more we come to the realization that simply going to work to make money and pay for the things we want and need is not enough. Some people figure this out earlier in life and some much later, but eventually most of us connect with the idea that each and every one of us is here to serve a purpose, to make a difference in the lives of others, and to leave this world a better place than we found it.

If you’ve found your passion, you probably go to work every day looking forward to your customer interactions. You are in the perfect position not only to do well financially but also to serve your community with great purpose. Your next step is ensuring that everything you’ve worked for and accomplished is passed on to the people you choose and that none of your loved ones or assets, either business or personal, are left vulnerable in the process.

Join us at Chesapeake’s on Tuesday, October 17, as Attorney Leigh Cowden walks us through the steps business owners should take to avoid common pitfalls in estate planning and ensure their legacy lives on for generations. Leigh Cowden is an experienced estate planning and business attorney with local offices in Knoxville and Maryville. Passionate about helping fellow entrepreneurs with business succession planning, estate planning, and asset protection strategies, Leigh will discuss in depth wills, trusts, probate, and asset protection strategies for business owners.

Note: This is an in-person event with a full breakfast. To help us reserve the appropriate number of seats and food, please ensure your registration is firm. Thank you!
