What to Expect:

Financial Peace University (FPU) is a nine-week class on money taught by America's most trusted financial guru, Dave Ramsey. Dave and his teaching team will walk you through how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more!

Our fall semester FPU class will meet for an hour and a half each Tuesday for nine weeks beginning September 4th. For the first half of each class, Dave Ramsey will teach on DVD. During the second half, class members will come together for a small group discussion, case studies, and hands-on activities. Like in our Life Groups, members of the class will support and encourage each other as they work to change their financial futures. (Note: While the class will be a confidential environment, you will not be required to share personal information.)

As a member of The Legacy Centre, you (and your spouse) will receive a free FPU membership kit with your class registration. Meet Your Lead Class Facilitator: Jeff Hinton

Financial Peace University will be led by members (including Porter Alexander) of our leadership team, of which Jeff Hinton will serve as the lead facilitator for this class. As a graduate of FPU and long-time coordinator of FPU in the local prison system, Jeff is a firm believer in the positive impact FPU can have. We are blessed to have him serve in this role.

Jeff Hinton is a member of the Knoxville Benefits Group and President of Careadigm, Inc., has over twenty-five years of corporate finance and healthcare experience. He has an MBA from Vanderbilt University and started his career as a CPA with Ernst & Young in Nashville. He served as the CFO of Matria Healthcare, a public company with over $300 million in annual revenues. Matria was hired by Fortune 500 corporations and regional health plans to manage the chronic conditions of their employees and members, reduce medical cost trend, improve productivity and promote health and wellness programs. Mr. Hinton also served as the CFO of MedCath Corporation, a cardiac hospital company that owned and operated ten hospitals with annual revenues of more than $700 million.
